go the doctors and ask for allopurol mate, its the only thing apart from your diet that can help reduce uric acid in your body thus curing gout. Trust me ive had it

It will go away, for now, but will most likely be a life long issue. I had small gout issues as far back as my 20's, I'm now 43 and have had it in my toes, wrist, ankles, strange places on my right foot like the top, and now, in both knees. The problem I have had is that I do not seem to be doing anything diet-wise that would cause it, nor do I drink alcohol. Definitely do something though, take it seriously because it can damage your kidneys (stones) and cause other grief.

Oh my god, I am really sorry to hear that. This makes me worry soo much. I am only 28 and i love sports. I recently got diagnosed with this damn thing. Its just my foot. Really worried now. Are you saying there is a chance it will not go away?

dude, gout is awful! I have had it in my toe, ankles (ouch!) and now in my knees. In fact, right now my right knee is hurting quite a bit. Nothing really works (at least in my case) except Nsaids and they only help with the pain and swelling. Indomethicen is very helpful, but hard on your liver! I had tried cherries, apple cider vinegar(tart and nasty, even cut with water), changed my diet, nothing really works, sigh...

It does hurt :^( I was recently diagnose with Gout and to my surprise I have had it since /05 started in my right toe ( I thought it was a bonian) a year later in my knee, 2 years later in my elbow and last week in my right hand finger, but I think the best think to do is keep up with the diet regardless of any medication that you are taking

PS: Also, try eating a whole bunch of cherries (30-50) a day and when you feel better just eat 8 or more a day. |
